| The study aimed to identify university administrations’ role in reducing cyber bullying from the perspective of faculty members in Jordanian universities. To achieve this goal, the descriptive correlation method was used. The study tool was developed and distributed to faculty members in Jordanian universities, with total of (393) participants. The results showed a significant role of university administrations in reducing the phenomenon of cyber bullying. Additionally, the results indicated that the level of cyber bullying was low. It was also found that there is a negative correlation between the role of universities in reducing cyber bullying and the level of cyber bullying in universities. In light of the findings of this study, the researchers recommend that colleges organize training courses and workshops to raise students’ awareness of the dangers of cyber bullying and its harmful effects on individuals and society. These workshops should include information on how to recognize and deal with cyber bullying. |
