| The study aimed to examine the occupational stress and career wellbeing levels among nurses, and to explore the relationship between these two variables. Methods: The study used a quantitative technique by correlational method. A sample of 406 nurses in Amman, Jordan was collected voluntarily. The study used both occupational stress scale and career wellbeing scale. Results: The results revealed moderate levels of both occupational stress and career wellbeing among the sampled nurses. Moreover, there is a statistically significant negative relationship between occupational stress and career wellbeing and its dimensions. Recommendation: Hospital management and healthcare administrators should focus on this issue to enhance nursing performance. Furthermore, they should provide special assistance, training programs, and support among nursing staff. |
