Abstract |

|
| In this paper, we present a fractional calculus-based model to explore the dynamics of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) methylation. The advantage of using fractional calculus in the modeling of biological phenomena is that we can consider both space nonlocality and memory effect simultaneously which play an essential role in describing the complex dynamics of all biological systems and in particular dynamics of DNA.
