Abstract |
|
This study develops a comprehensive stochastic framework to examine the impact of Le ́vy perturbations on the dynamics of the SIRS (Susceptible-Infectious-Recovered-Susceptible) model. Initially, we established the existence and uniqueness of the solution, ensuring a solid foundation for our analysis. We identified the critical conditions for disease persistence, which are essential for evaluating the applicability of the model in real-world scenarios. Additionally, we determined the criteria for disease extinction. To support our theoretical findings, we conducted extensive computer simulations.
