Abstract |

|
| The paper sets out to study some properties of the new mathematical probability power series distributions called a Min
Pareto power series (MinParPS). Several models in special cases used in the study of the lifetime are presented. Expressions for
certain numerical and reliability characteristics (e.g. expectation, variance, survival function, hazard rate) are obtained. In the final part
of the paper the problem of the statistical estimation using the EM algorithm is treated. |
