The Journal of Radiation and Nuclear Applications serves as a reputable platform for the dissemination of substantial, original scientific, technological, and short communications papers that focus on the advancement and practical utilization of nuclear, radiation, and radionuclide techniques. The scope of the journal encompasses various disciplines such as chemistry, physics, biochemistry, biology, medicine, security, engineering, as well as earth, planetary, and environmental sciences. The journal welcomes both experimental and theoretical contributions related to the development and utilization of α- and β-particles, X-rays and γ-rays, neutrons, and other nuclear particles and radiations from diverse sources including radionuclides, synchrotron sources, cyclotrons, reactors, and the natural environment.

The journal covers a wide range of areas including radiation measurement and radioactivity, nuclear physics and chemistry, radionuclide production and quality control, radioanalytical methods, nuclear magnetic resonance/electron spin resonance, accelerator mass spectrometry, dosimetric aspects of naturally occurring radioactive materials and low-level radiation, application of ion beam analysis techniques in various fields, high energy physics, and radioecology. In addition to original research papers, review articles and conference proceedings may also be considered for publication after consultation with the journals editor.
