Abstract |

|
| The present study experimentally investigated an estimator for finite population mean using auxiliary knowledge and using technique of post-stratification. For the comparison of developed estimator with other estimators in literature, BIAS and MSE are derived. Furthermore, to establish the superiority of the developed estimator, it has been compared on the ground of theory as well as numerically.
