A comprehensive analysis of elastic scattering of 35Cl projectile from 24Mg, 27Al, 58,62Ni, 116,120,124Sn and 141Pr target nuclei

Abstract
Elastic scattering angular distributions of 35Cl from 24Mg, 27Al, 58,62Ni, 116,120,124Sn and 141Pr targets are theoretically studied by using nine different density distributions of the 35Cl nucleus. The theoretical results are compared with both experimental data and literature results. It is observed that our results successfully describe the data, and are in good agreement with the literature. Finally, new and practical equations of imaginary potentials are derived for all the densities of 35Cl projectile. 24.10.Ht, 25.70.-z.
