Abstract |
|
Glyconanomaterials broadly defined as carbohydrate presenting structures below 100nm in size, exhibit remarkable chemical and physical properties with high potential for modern biomedical applications. The results demonstrate that this approach to carbohydrate presentation at nonmaterial surfaces leads to efficient and selective binding to cognate proteins, enabling new applications in carbohydrate-lectin recognition, profiting, biosensing, screening, cell imaging and bacteria detection. |
