| Previous quantum teleportation schemes mainly focus on teleporting the unknown state via entanglement state with the
same dimension. In this paper, we study the problem of hybrid teleportation. We present a protocol for faithful teleportation of an
unknown qutrit state using a special kind of four-qubit entanglement state. The construction of the special four-qubit entanglement
state is described and the number of the qubits consumed in the protocol is shown to be minimal. |
