Some Statistical Properties of a Non-linear Entangled Pair Coherent State

Abstract
A new type of a non-linear entangled pair coherent state is introduced. Under a certain choice of the non-linear functions the solution of the recurrence relation is obtained. Phenomenon of squeezing and the Poissonian distribution are examined. It is shown that the eigenvalue of the photon number sum (the q-parameter) is responsible for some of nonclassical phenomenon. Furthermore, the quasi-probability distribution functions (theWigner and Q-functions) are discussed. For theWigner function the nonclassical behaviour is only displayed for odd values of the q-parameter in a restricted subspace. Finally the phase distribution in the framework of Pegg and Barnett formalism is considered.
