Abstract
In this paper, the generalized Jacobi Galerkin (GJG) method is analyzed for the numerical solution of nonlinear multi- order fractional differential equations(FDEs). We consider the generalized Jacobi functions(GJFs) with indexes corresponding to the number of homogeneous initial conditions as natural basis functions for the GJG approximation. The unique solvability of the resulting nonlinear algebraic system, as well as convergence properties of the proposed approach, are discussed. The validity of the method is demonstrated with some illustrative examples. Keywords:
