Abstract
This paper is devoted to the construction of a generalized termostat term for a kinetic theory framework of the thermostatted theory for active particles. Specifically the novelty of this paper with respect the pertinent literature is the relaxation of the homogeneous boundary conditions assumption. The existence and uniqueness of the related initial-boundary-value problem is presented and the time evolution of the low-order moments is investigated. The new framework constitutes a background paradigm for the derivation of specific models for complex living systems.
