Abstract
The purpose of the present study is to measure the level of the natural radioactivity of (underground waters samples) in Tallafar district center, from the Alayadiyah side, and from the Al-Adaya village, determination absorbed dose rate( Dγ), annual effective dose (AEDE indoor) , AEDE(outdoor) of (228Ac,226Ra,214Pb, 137Cs, 40K),the average of Dγ is (0.535998 nGy/h) the (Dγ) less than0 the average global 0value by (84 nGy/h), the average of AEDE outdoor is (0.657357×〖10〗^(-6)mSv/y) , the (AEDEoutdoor) less than the global average value given by(0.07mSv/y),the average of AEDE in is (2.629376×〖10〗^(-6)mSv/y) , the (AEDEin) less than the global 0average value by(0.5mSv/y) respectively using gamma ray spectroscopy technique with NaI(Tl) scintillation detector in 15 samples, also evaluation of radiological hazard indices(radium equivalent Reaq, absorbed dose rate( Dγ), annual effective dose (AEDE indoor) , AEDE(outdoor), hazard induces (Hex and Hin) and gamma index (Iγ)) . The results showed that the average value of the specific activity are agreement with IAEA publications.
