Abstract
Work studies the problem of vertical migration of 137Cs radionuclide in the soil of two Georgian resorts Ureki and Bakhmaro located at different height from the sea level. Samples were gathered after 31 years from Chernobyl accident, i.e. about a half-decay period of the mentioned radionuclide. The great interest to the 137Cs problem is the reason of the investigation of its migration in soils with different physical-chemical properties. The samples of soil in both places were taken on one and the same day (15 July 2017) at surface and in the different depths of soil up to 40 cm. For investigated two different types of soil, the different character of vertical migration of 137Cs radionuclide is clearly seen.
