Abstract
The 210Po activity concentrations in a good set of foodstuffs forming part of the representative diet consumed by the population of Seville (Spain) has been determined by alpha-particle spectrometry and the obtained values compared with the published ones for similar products over the world. The results obtained allow confirming the hypothesis reflected in a previous work that the relatively high amount of 210Po ingested by the population of Seville annually associated to their diet, is related with the habit of high seafood consumption.
