The Effectiveness of Creative Thinking Skills Training Program (CORT) in the Development of Palm Leaves Industries and Strengthen the Trend towards Literal Work with Ninth Grade Students in South Batinah Governorate, Oman

The present study aimed to: a) provide a training program develops creative thinking skills among ninth grade students, b) employment creative thinking in the development of palm leaves industry by ninth grade students, c) strengthen the positive trends toward palm leaves industries among ninth grade students. The study sample consisted of (59) ninth grade students at Nakhal basic education school. The study used a quasi-experimental approach; where one classroom was chosen to be the experimental group (30 students), and another classroom to be the control group (29 students). The training program was applied with the experimental sample through (20) training session. The study revealed the following results: a) the training program was used effectively in the development of creative thinking skills among ninth grade students, b) the effectiveness of the training program in the development of palm leaves industries by ninth grade students, c) the program enhance ninth grade students trends toward literal work by improving the economic return of the craft.
